Chrome Ball Segment Control Valve,
Wafer Flange Ball Segment Control Valve
Wafer Flange Connection Chrome Harden Seated Ball Segment Control Valve With YT-1000 Positioner
TEKO Ball Segment V port ball valve is specially designed for control applications of various medium like liquids, pulp and steam.
Our ball valve is used for sticky and crystallizing mediums, because of cleaning function of metal seat for both control and on/off applications where PTFE seated valves do not lasting. If the medium contains solid particles, the geometry of metal seat and segment will warranty better function as standard valves.
The TEKO V port ball valves are tight to one direction which is shown by an arrow on the body.
The wafer end ball valve is a reduced bore valve produced in stainless steel throughout with a hard chromed ball sector and Stellite or PTFE seat. The V port gives an excellent control characteristic which is intermediate between linear and equal percentage.
Traditional Ball Valves VS. Segemented V-port Ball Valves
Traditional ball valves are specifically designed for on/off operation only and not as a throttling or control valve mechanism. When producers attempt to use a traditional ball valve as a control valve by throttling, they create excessive cavitation and turbulence within the valve as well as in in the flow line. This is detrimental to the life and functionality of the valve.
Some of the benefits of the v-port design in the segmented ball are:
TEKO ball segment valves suit a wide variety of applications and industries, including pulp and paper production. Within this environment, for paper machines to operate effectively, strong flow control of different materials is absolutely vital.
Due to the open flow characteristics of the ball valve, even pulp is a non-issue, and the proper control of fluids to a paper machine is easily enabled. It maintains the cleanliness of the fluid, which is critical to paper and pulp machines operations.
Within the sugar production industry, control requirements are extremely stringent, which is why the TEKO ball segment valves large flow opening are used to prevent wear and erosion from the sugar. Our segmented ball control valves can handle virtually any type of material at a staggering range of temperatures.
This is what makes them perfect for handling a huge range of dangerous chemicals. The backlash-free torque transmission makes control and accuracy an awful lot easier. This is why the TEEKO ball segment valve are used for distillation activities.
