Wedge Gate Valves
API wedge gate valve are commonly supplied with solid wedge up to 2” size and with flexible wedge for larger sizes. The later design consists of two independent and flexible wedge halves, that allow a relative movement to accommodate changes in the body seat angels. The result is a valve with a high pressure sealing performance, with optimum results at low differential pressures, meeting industrial valve requirements, moved toward larger sizes and higher pressure and temperatures.
Design: ASME B16.34, API600 for cast valves and API602 for small size forged valves.
Testing: API 598 and ASME B16.34
Double Disc Gate Valves
Our double disc valve incorporates a double disc, wedge and seat system which makes this design unique, being designed to assure a reliable operation under most severe service conditions.
The two independent trunnion mounted discs which permit each disc to rotate in a few degrees during closing. This rotation feature allows the discs to seat in a different position on each closing stroke which provides even wear and prevents small imperfection from growing into major leaks.

To guarantee high levels of quality for all of our gate valves, our QA department implements a rigorous control and testing system throughout the manufacturing process. Moreover, TEKO vales keeps an operational quality control and assurance manual that enables us to maintain optimum quality levels.
The valves will be tested during design phase and after assembly, prior to shipment.
