TEKO GLOBE VALVES
Globe valves are suited for service where Throttling is required. Globe valve flow characteristics allow accurate and repeatable flow control. Caution should be taken to avoid very close throttling when the pressure drop exceeds around 20%. This close throttling can lead to excessive noise or vibration and can result in damage to the valves and other piping system components.

For use in service up to 649° . Offers good corrosion and oxidation resistance.
For service between --46°C and 343°C. This material must be quenched and tempered to obtain tensile and impact properties needed at low temperatures.
For service between -101°C and 343°C. Subsequent heat treatment is used to obtain tensile and impact properties needed at subzero temperatures.
For service up to 537°C , where corrosion and oxidation resistance are required.
For service up to537°C, where corrosion and oxidation resistance are desired, but lower costs than CF8M and slightly lower strength and corrosion resistance can be accepted.
(1) Upon prolonged exposure to temperatures above 426°C , the carbide phase of carbon steel may be converted to graphite. Permissible, but not recommended for prolonged use above 426°C
(2) Product used within the jurisdiction of Power piping, ASME Code for Pressure piping B31.3, is subject to the same maximum temperature limitations placed upon the material in that document.
